Latest Club re-opening/Covid Update February 2022
Hi,
Many thanks for your support, patience and understanding re the delayed re-opening of the club. We were hoping to have restarted by now but unfortunately there have been a couple of set backs. Carol went down with Covid at the end of January and she is still quite poorly. I have pretty much become her carer for the time being and that must be my priority. Hopefully she will begin to make progress and then we can look to how/when we can restart the club.
The other guideline is the Covid infection rates. The national figure is 850 persons per 100,000. Watford and Three Rivers are about a third higher than the national average. These numbers are finally beginning to drop. We hope to restart the club when those figures are nearer/lower than the national average.
The numbers of Covid has risen mainly in the lower age groups of children at primary school. This is a worry at this time, but we are keeping a watch on the numbers. We will let everyone know when we will reopen the club. This will be by text/on "facebook". Until then stay safe, wear a mask if you can and we hope to see you soon.
Restarting the Iruka Judokwai, Judo club
